
Chi-chih Chen received his
MS and Ph.D. degrees from the Ohio State University Electrical
and Computer Engineering Department in 1993 and 1997,
respectively. During 1993-1997 he was a Graduate Research
Associate at The Ohio State University ElectroScience Laboratory
(ESL). He was a Postdoctoral Researcher at ESL from 1997 to
1999, a Senior Research Associate from 1999 to 2003 and became a
Research Scientist in 2004. He is also an Adjunct Assistant
Professor at The Ohio State University Electrical and Computer
Engineering Department since 2004.
Dr. Chen’s main research
area focuses on developing novel radar and antenna technologies.
His recent research topics include ground penetrating radar
technology for detecting and classifying subsurface ordnance,
landmines, pipes; UWB feed antenna designs for compact ranges,
tapered chambers and near-field ranges; vehicular obstacle
detection radars; miniature antenna designs for communication
and navigation systems |
